Baked Eggs with Buttered Crumbs
Simple baked eggs with a crispy, buttery crumb topping. A quick and easy breakfast or brunch option.
Ingredients
- 2 Eggs
- 1 cup Bread crumbs (Plain or seasoned)
- 2 tablespoons Butter, melted
- 0.25 teaspoon Salt (To taste)
- 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper (Freshly ground, to taste)
Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2Lightly grease a small baking dish or ramekins.
- 3Crack the eggs into the prepared baking dish.
- 4Season with salt and pepper.
- 5In a small bowl, combine bread crumbs and melted butter. Mix well.
- 6Sprinkle the buttered crumbs evenly over the eggs.
- 7Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the egg whites are set and the yolks are still runny (or cooked to your liking).
