Baked Bananas
Simple baked bananas with a sweet and tangy glaze, perfect for a quick dessert.
Ingredients
- 3 Bananas (About 6 medium bananas in original recipe, adjusted for modern serving size.)
- 1 tablespoon Butter, melted (Original recipe calls for 2 tablespoons, adjusted for modern serving size.)
- 2 tablespoons Sugar (Original recipe calls for 1/3 cup, adjusted for modern serving size.)
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice (Original recipe calls for 2 tablespoons, adjusted for modern serving size.)
Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Peel the bananas and cut them in half lengthwise. Place them in a shallow baking dish.
- 2In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar, and lemon juice until well combined.
- 3Baste the bananas with half of the butter mixture. Bake for 20 minutes, basting halfway through with the remaining mixture.
