Simple Butter Sauce

A classic butter sauce, enhanced with lemon juice and seasoned with salt and pepper. The key is to remove it from the heat before all the butter melts to retain a fresh, creamy flavor.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Unsalted Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. 1In a saucepan, combine the butter, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  2. 2Place the saucepan over low heat. Stir constantly with a wooden spoon until the butter is about half melted (approximately 2-3 minutes).
  3. 3Remove the saucepan from the heat. Continue to stir until the butter is completely liquid and the sauce is smooth (approximately 1-2 minutes). Serve immediately.
