Rice Timbale

A simple rice timbale, molded for an elegant presentation. This recipe uses cooked rice, seasoned and shaped into a timbale.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cooked Rice (Use any type of cooked rice. Original recipe calls for 1/2 cup, adjusted for modern portions.)
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Ensure the rice is cooked and slightly cooled. Fluff the rice with a fork to separate the grains.
  2. 2In a bowl, gently mix the cooked rice with melted butter, salt, and pepper. Ensure the seasonings are evenly distributed.
  3. 3Lightly grease a small mold or ramekin. Pack the seasoned rice firmly into the mold. Press down gently to ensure it holds its shape.
  4. 4Invert the mold onto a serving plate. Gently tap the mold to release the timbale. Serve immediately.
