Salt Codfish with Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1/2 medium Onion
- 3 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons Flour
- 1/4 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 small Pimento
- 1 cup Tomato Pulp (or crushed tomatoes)
- 1/2 pound Salt Codfish, picked into small pieces and freshened
- 1 quart Water

Instructions
- 1Grate or finely chop the garlic and half an onion.
- 2In a pan, sauté the grated or chopped garlic and onion in 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until softened, about 5 minutes.
- 3Add 2 tablespoons of flour and 1/4 teaspoon of paprika to the pan. Stir well. Add the chopped pimento and 1 cup of tomato pulp (or crushed tomatoes). Bring the sauce to a simmer.
