A simple dish of cheese and breadcrumbs.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 Egg
- 1 tablespoonful Butter
- 1 cup Fine bread crumbs (Quantity estimated (not specified in original recipe))
- 3/4 to 1 whole cup Cheese
Instructions
- 1Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Lightly beat the egg in a separate bowl. Soak the bread crumbs in the milk.
- 2Add the cheese to the melted butter and stir until melted. Then, add the bread crumbs (soaked in milk) and the lightly beaten egg. Stir constantly until the mixture is heated through and the cheese is melted and combined with the breadcrumbs.
