Cheese Fritters
A simple recipe for cheese and apple fritters, fried in butter.
Ingredients
- 6 pieces Large tart apples
- 3 slices Cheese
- 2 pieces Eggs

Instructions
- 1Slice half a dozen large tart apples thinly. Prepare half as many thin slices of cheese.
- 2Beat the eggs in a bowl. Season with salt, mustard, and pepper.
- 3Soak the cheese slices in the egg mixture. Place each cheese slice between two apple slices, sandwich style. Dip the apple and cheese sandwiches in the beaten egg mixture. Sauté in hot butter until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
