Winter Squash

A simple recipe for preparing winter squash.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium Winter squash
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. 1Cut the winter squash into pieces.
  2. 2Place the squash pieces in a pot with a small quantity of water (about 1/4 cup). Boil for 20 to 40 minutes, or until tender.
  3. 3When done, press the water out of the squash. Mash the squash smooth. Season with butter, pepper, and salt.
