Wine Sauce No. 1
A simple wine sauce.
Ingredients
- 3/4 pint Water
- 1 cupful Sugar
- 1 small teaspoonful Cornstarch
- 1 teaspoonful Royal Extract Lemon
- 1 teaspoonful Cinnamon
- 1/2 gill Wine
Instructions
- 1In a saucepan, boil the water. In a small bowl, dissolve the cornstarch in a little cold water. Add the dissolved cornstarch and the sugar to the boiling water.
- 2Boil for 15 minutes, then strain the sauce. When ready to serve, add the Royal Extract Lemon, Cinnamon, and wine.
