Tripe Fried
A classic fried tripe recipe.
Ingredients
- Tripe
- 4 Eggs
- 4 tablespoonfuls Flour
- 1 pint Milk
- as needed Oil (for frying)
Instructions
- 1Boil the tripe until tender. Cut the cooked tripe into pieces approximately 3 or 4 inches square.
- 2In a bowl, beat the eggs. Add the flour and milk, whisking until a smooth batter forms.
- 3Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Dip each piece of tripe in the batter twice, ensuring it's fully coated. Carefully place the battered tripe in the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides. Serve hot.
