Tomato Sauce
A simple tomato sauce recipe.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes
- 1 small Onion, minced
- Parsley, chopped
- to taste Black pepper
- to taste Salt
- to taste Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 tablespoon Flour
Instructions
- 1Pare and slice the tomatoes.
- 2Stew the tomatoes for 20 minutes.
- 3Strain the stewed tomatoes and rub them through a sieve, leaving hard and tough parts behind.
- 4Put the strained tomatoes into a saucepan with the minced onion, parsley, pepper, salt, and sugar.
- 5Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 6Stir in the butter rolled in flour. Boil up.
- 7Serve the sauce.
