Tomato Sauce

A simple tomato sauce recipe.

Ingredients

  • Tomatoes
  • 1 small Onion, minced
  • Parsley, chopped
  • to taste Black pepper
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Flour

Instructions

  1. 1Pare and slice the tomatoes.
  2. 2Stew the tomatoes for 20 minutes.
  3. 3Strain the stewed tomatoes and rub them through a sieve, leaving hard and tough parts behind.
  4. 4Put the strained tomatoes into a saucepan with the minced onion, parsley, pepper, salt, and sugar.
  5. 5Bring the mixture to a boil.
  6. 6Stir in the butter rolled in flour. Boil up.
  7. 7Serve the sauce.
