To Boil Jerusalem Artichokes

A simple recipe for boiling Jerusalem artichokes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Jerusalem artichokes
  • 2 tablespoons Salt
  • 4 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoons Butter

Instructions

  1. 1Wash the Jerusalem artichokes. Peel them or cut them into a round or oval form.
  2. 2In a large saucepan, combine the water and salt. Add the prepared artichokes. Bring the water to a boil and cook for 20 minutes, or until tender.
  3. 3Drain the artichokes. Serve them with a little melted butter poured over them.
