Stewed Tomatoes With Onion and Bread
A simple stewed tomato recipe with onion and bread.
Ingredients
- 1 can Canned tomatoes
- 1 small Onion
- 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1/4 cup Bread crumbs
Instructions
- 1Empty the can of tomatoes into a saucepan. Slice the small onion.
- 2Place the saucepan over medium heat. Add the sliced onion, pepper, salt, and sugar. Stew for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 3Add the butter and bread crumbs. Simmer for 5-10 minutes. Pour out and serve.
