Sauce for Venison
A simple sauce to complement venison steak.
Ingredients
- 2 spoonfuls Currant jelly
- 1 stick Cinnamon stick
- 1 blade Mace
- as needed Grated white bread
- 10 tablespoonfuls Water
Instructions
- 1Combine the currant jelly, cinnamon stick, mace, grated white bread, and water in a small saucepan. Let stew with a little water over low heat, stirring occasionally.
- 2Serve the sauce in a dish with venison steak.
