Sauce for Venison

A simple sauce to complement venison steak.

Ingredients

  • 2 spoonfuls Currant jelly
  • 1 stick Cinnamon stick
  • 1 blade Mace
  • as needed Grated white bread
  • 10 tablespoonfuls Water

Instructions

  1. 1Combine the currant jelly, cinnamon stick, mace, grated white bread, and water in a small saucepan. Let stew with a little water over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  2. 2Serve the sauce in a dish with venison steak.
