Peach Ice Cream
A classic peach ice cream recipe.
Ingredients
- 12 peaches Peaches
- 6 ounces Granulated sugar (Originally pulverized sugar. Substituted with granulated sugar.)
- 1 quart Heavy cream (Originally best cream. Substituted with heavy cream.)
- 8 ounces Granulated sugar (Originally pulverized white sugar. Substituted with granulated sugar.)
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 teaspoonful Royal Extract Almond
Instructions
- 1Peel and stone the peaches. Place the peaches in a china basin and crush them. Add 6 ounces of granulated sugar and mix well.
- 2In a saucepan, combine 1 quart of heavy cream, 8 ounces of granulated sugar, and 2 whole eggs. Place the mixture over medium heat and bring it to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and strain the mixture.
- 3Place the ice cream base in a freezer and freeze until nearly frozen. Stir in the peach pulp and 1 teaspoonful of Royal Extract Almond. Give a few more turns of the freezer to harden.
