Oyster Salad

Oyster Salad

A refreshing salad featuring oysters, lettuce, and a simple vinaigrette.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Oysters
  • 1/3 cup Lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons Salad oil
  • 4 tablespoons Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard

Instructions

  1. 1Cut the oysters into thirds or quarters.
  2. 2Pull the hearts out of nice lettuce heads and shred 1/3 as much lettuce as you have oysters.
  3. 3In a small bowl, whisk together the salad oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, pepper, and mustard until well combined.
  4. 4Just before serving, pour the dressing over the oysters and lettuce. Mix gently to combine.
