Onion Sauce
A simple sauce made from onions, milk, and butter.
Ingredients
- 4 or 5 White onions
- 1/2 pint Whole milk
- 1 oz Butter
- to taste Black pepper
- to taste Salt
Instructions
- 1Peel the onions and boil them in water until tender, approximately 20-25 minutes. Drain the water and press the onions to remove excess liquid.
- 2Chop the cooked onions very fine. Heat the milk. Combine the onions and hot milk, then add the butter, pepper, and salt to taste.
