Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Mutton chops
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Butter

Instructions

  1. 1Cut the mutton chops from the best end of the loin or neck. Trim them neatly, removing any skin or excess fat, leaving only enough fat to make them palatable.
  2. 2Preheat your broiler. Place the chops on a broiler pan or a gridiron over a clear fire. Broil for about 5 minutes per side, turning frequently, until cooked to your desired doneness. Season with salt and pepper during the cooking process.
  3. 3Once cooked, place a piece of butter on top of each chop. Serve immediately on a hot dish.
