Lovers of Chocolate

A chocolate custard pie topping or filling.

Ingredients

  • 1 each Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Pulverized sugar (powdered sugar)
  • 2 tablespoons Grated chocolate
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract (Originally Royal Extract Vanilla.)
  • 4 ounces Chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar

Instructions

  1. 1Beat 1 egg until frothy. Add pulverized sugar and grated chocolate. Stir in vanilla extract. Spread this mixture on top of a custard pie and place in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for a moment to harden.
  2. 2Melt the chocolate in a heat-safe bowl over low heat, without adding any water. Once melted, beat in 1 egg and some sugar. This will result in a chocolate brown color.
