Instructions

  1. 1Select vegetables that are as fresh as possible. Summer vegetables are best cooked on the same day they are harvested.
  2. 2Inspect the vegetables and wash them thoroughly. Cut away any decayed or unripe parts.
  3. 3After peeling, place the vegetables in cold water for some time before cooking.
  4. 4Always bring the water to a boil before adding the vegetables. Continue to boil until the vegetables are cooked to your desired tenderness.
