Graham Muffins

Graham Muffins

A classic muffin recipe using Graham flour.

Ingredients

  • 1 quart Graham flour
  • 1 tablespoonful Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoonful Salt
  • 3 teaspoonfuls Baking powder
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 pint Milk

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease muffin pans well.
  2. 2In a large bowl, sift together the Graham flour, brown sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  3. 3In a separate bowl, beat the egg. Add the beaten egg and milk to the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined, forming a batter similar to pound cake.
  4. 4Fill the prepared muffin pans about 2/3 full. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
