Graham Cream Toast

A simple and comforting dish of toasted Graham bread soaked in a creamy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices Graham bread
  • 1 pint Heavy cream
  • to taste Butter
  • to taste Salt

Instructions

  1. 1Cut 6 slices of Graham bread. Toast the bread until golden brown. Scrape off any burnt parts. Remove the crusts and cut each slice into 4 pieces.
  2. 2Arrange the toasted bread pieces in a suitable dish with a cover. Bring the heavy cream to a boil with a pinch of salt. Pour the hot cream over the toast. Cover the dish and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
