Custard Sauce

A classic custard sauce recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 pint Whole milk
  • 4 each Egg yolks
  • 1/2 cupful Granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. 1In a saucepan, combine the milk, egg yolks, and sugar.
  2. 2Set the saucepan over low heat and stir constantly with a whisk until the custard thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon. This should take about 15-20 minutes.
  3. 3Serve warm or chilled.
