Cocoanut Cake
A cake with layers of grated coconut and pastry cream, topped with sifted sugar.
Ingredients
- 1 cupful Grated coconut
- 2 cupful Pastry Cream
- as needed Powdered sugar
Instructions
- 1Prepare the Cream Cake No. 2 (recipe not provided, assume standard cake layers). Allow the cake layers to cool completely before assembling.
- 2Spread grated coconut between the cake layers, using approximately 1 cupful of coconut for every 2 cupfuls of Pastry Cream.
- 3Sift powdered sugar over the top of the assembled cake.
