Clear Icing, For Cake
A simple clear icing recipe for cakes.
Ingredients
- 1 cupful Granulated Sugar
- 1 tablespoonful Lemon Juice
- 2 eggs Egg Whites
Instructions
- 1In a bowl, combine the sugar, lemon juice, and egg whites. Mix until smooth.
- 2Pour the icing over the cake. If the cake is not hot enough to dry the icing, place it in a moderately warm oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes, or until the icing sets.
