Clear Icing, For Cake

A simple clear icing recipe for cakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cupful Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tablespoonful Lemon Juice
  • 2 eggs Egg Whites

Instructions

  1. 1In a bowl, combine the sugar, lemon juice, and egg whites. Mix until smooth.
  2. 2Pour the icing over the cake. If the cake is not hot enough to dry the icing, place it in a moderately warm oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes, or until the icing sets.
