Cider Jelly

A simple jelly made with cider, gelatin, and lemon.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Gelatin
  • 1 pint Cold water
  • 1 pint Boiling water
  • 1 quart Cider
  • 1 pint Granulated sugar
  • 2 each Lemon

Instructions

  1. 1Dissolve the gelatin in 1 pint of cold water. Let it sit for 20 minutes.
  2. 2After 20 minutes, add 1 pint of boiling water, 1 quart of cider, 1 pint of sugar, and the grated rind and juice of 2 lemons.
  3. 3Let the mixture stand on the stove until hot, but do not boil. Then, strain the mixture into molds.
