Chocolate Blanc Mange

A classic chocolate dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 quart Milk
  • 1/2 box Gelatin
  • 1 cup Water
  • 4 tablespoonfuls Grated chocolate
  • as needed Milk
  • 3 Eggs
  • to taste Vanilla extract
  • to taste Sugar
  • to taste Cream
  • to taste Custard

Instructions

  1. 1Soak the gelatin in 1 cup of water for 5 minutes to soften.
  2. 2Rub the grated chocolate smooth in a little milk.
  3. 3Heat the milk until boiling. Add the softened gelatin, chocolate mixture, and eggs. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. 4Pour the mixture into a mold and let it set in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Serve cold with sugar and cream, or custard.
