Chocolate Blanc Mange
A classic chocolate dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 quart Milk
- 1/2 box Gelatin
- 1 cup Water
- 4 tablespoonfuls Grated chocolate
- as needed Milk
- 3 Eggs
- to taste Vanilla extract
- to taste Sugar
- to taste Cream
- to taste Custard
Instructions
- 1Soak the gelatin in 1 cup of water for 5 minutes to soften.
- 2Rub the grated chocolate smooth in a little milk.
- 3Heat the milk until boiling. Add the softened gelatin, chocolate mixture, and eggs. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- 4Pour the mixture into a mold and let it set in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Serve cold with sugar and cream, or custard.
