Ingredients

  • Canned Peas
  • lump Butter
  • Pepper
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. 1Open the can of peas and transfer them to a bowl. Let them sit for 1 hour before cooking.
  2. 2Place the peas in a saucepan with hot water, ensuring the water covers the peas. If the peas seem dry, add cold water to cover them. Stew for about 25 minutes, or until heated through.
  3. 3Drain the peas. Stir in a generous lump of butter, pepper, and salt to taste.
