Buttered Parsnips
A simple recipe for buttered parsnips.
Ingredients
- Parsnips
- 3 tablespoonfuls Butter
- to taste Black pepper
- to taste Salt
- a little Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- 1Boil the parsnips until tender. Scrape the parsnips and slice them lengthwise.
- 2In a saucepan, melt the butter. Add pepper, salt, and chopped parsley. When heated, add the sliced parsnips. Shake and turn until the mixture boils.
- 3Arrange the parsnips on a dish and pour the butter sauce over them. Serve immediately.
