Buttered Parsnips

A simple recipe for buttered parsnips.

Ingredients

  • Parsnips
  • 3 tablespoonfuls Butter
  • to taste Black pepper
  • to taste Salt
  • a little Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. 1Boil the parsnips until tender. Scrape the parsnips and slice them lengthwise.
  2. 2In a saucepan, melt the butter. Add pepper, salt, and chopped parsley. When heated, add the sliced parsnips. Shake and turn until the mixture boils.
  3. 3Arrange the parsnips on a dish and pour the butter sauce over them. Serve immediately.
