Broiled Salt Salmon or Other Salt Fish
A simple recipe for broiling salt fish.
Ingredients
- Salt Salmon or other salt fish
- Butter
Instructions
- 1Soak the salt salmon in tepid or cold water for 24 hours, changing the water several times. Alternatively, let it stand under a faucet of running water. If you're in a hurry or prefer a very salty result, soak for a shorter time in warm water, changing the water, and parboiling slightly.
- 2At the desired time, broil the fish sharply.
- 3Season to taste and cover with butter.
