Broiled Halibut
A simple recipe for broiled halibut.
Ingredients
- slices Halibut fillets (Use halibut fillets, about 1 inch thick. Quantity is based on the original text.)
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper
- tablespoons Butter (Use about 3 tablespoons of butter per pound of fish. Quantity is based on the original text.)
- as needed All-purpose flour
Instructions
- 1Cut the halibut fillets into slices about 1 inch thick. Season the slices with salt and pepper.
- 2Melt the butter. Lay the seasoned halibut slices in the melted butter and let them sit for 30 minutes.
- 3Remove the halibut from the butter and roll them in flour. Broil the fish for about 20 minutes, or until cooked through and lightly browned. Serve very hot.
