Broiled Halibut

A simple recipe for broiled halibut.

Ingredients

  • slices Halibut fillets (Use halibut fillets, about 1 inch thick. Quantity is based on the original text.)
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • tablespoons Butter (Use about 3 tablespoons of butter per pound of fish. Quantity is based on the original text.)
  • as needed All-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. 1Cut the halibut fillets into slices about 1 inch thick. Season the slices with salt and pepper.
  2. 2Melt the butter. Lay the seasoned halibut slices in the melted butter and let them sit for 30 minutes.
  3. 3Remove the halibut from the butter and roll them in flour. Broil the fish for about 20 minutes, or until cooked through and lightly browned. Serve very hot.
