Banana Pie
A banana pie made with a white custard, ripe bananas, and a meringue topping.
Ingredients
- 6 medium Ripe bananas
- 1 batch White custard
- 1 crust Rich open pastry crust
- 1 topping Meringue
Instructions
- 1Mix the pulp of ripe bananas, pressed through a colander or sieve, with the white custard.
- 2Pour the banana and custard mixture into the rich open pastry crust. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is set.
- 3Top the baked pie with meringue.
