Banana Pie

A banana pie made with a white custard, ripe bananas, and a meringue topping.

Ingredients

  • 6 medium Ripe bananas
  • 1 batch White custard
  • 1 crust Rich open pastry crust
  • 1 topping Meringue

Instructions

  1. 1Mix the pulp of ripe bananas, pressed through a colander or sieve, with the white custard.
  2. 2Pour the banana and custard mixture into the rich open pastry crust. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is set.
  3. 3Top the baked pie with meringue.
