Apple Tapioca Pudding
A simple apple pudding with tapioca, flavored with lemon.
Ingredients
- as needed Apples
- as needed Lemon peel
- 1/2 pint Tapioca
- 1 quart Lukewarm water
- as needed Salt
- as needed Lemon juice
- as needed Cream
- as needed Sugar
Instructions
- 1Peel and core enough apples to fill your baking dish. Place a small piece of lemon peel inside each apple.
- 2Soak the tapioca in lukewarm water for 1 hour. Add a pinch of salt.
- 3Flavor the soaked tapioca with lemon juice. Pour the tapioca mixture over the prepared apples. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) until the apples are tender, about 30 minutes.
- 4Let the pudding cool completely. Serve cold with cream and sugar.
