Apple Jelly

A simple recipe for making apple jelly.

Ingredients

  • as needed Apples
  • as needed Cider
  • 1 pound Granulated Sugar

Instructions

  1. 1Wash and slice the apples, using the seeds and skins. Place the apple slices in a pot.
  2. 2Add enough cider to the pot to cover the apples. Cook the apples over medium heat until they are soft.
  3. 3Strain the cooked apple mixture through a cloth-lined sieve.
  4. 4Add the sugar to the strained juice. Boil the mixture for a few minutes until it reaches the desired consistency.
