Watercress Salad

A simple and refreshing watercress salad, perfect as a light side dish. Enjoy it plain with a touch of salt, or mix it with other greens for a more complex flavor.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Fresh watercress (Thoroughly washed and trimmed)
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt (Or to taste)
  • 2 cups Optional salad greens (Such as lettuce, spinach, or arugula)

Instructions

  1. 1Wash the watercress thoroughly under cold running water. Trim off any tough stems. If using other salad greens, wash and prepare them as well.
  2. 2Place the watercress in a salad bowl. If using, add other salad greens. Sprinkle with salt to taste. Serve immediately.
