Tinned Pineapple with Cherry and Angelica
A simple and elegant way to present tinned pineapple, garnished with a cherry and angelica to resemble a star.
Ingredients
- 4 rings Tinned Pineapple Rings (Or pineapple slices)
- 4 cherries Glacé Cherries (Red, for the center)
- 32 strips Angelica (Green, for the spikes)
Instructions
- 1Carefully remove the pineapple rings from the tin and drain any excess juice. Place each ring on a serving plate.
- 2Place a red glacé cherry in the center of each pineapple ring.
- 3Cut the green angelica into thin strips, about 1 inch long. Arrange eight strips around each cherry, radiating outwards to the edge of the pineapple ring, resembling spikes. Ensure the strips do not overlap.
