Tinned Peaches in Syrup
Simple method for preparing tinned peaches, similar to apricots, by simmering them in their own syrup to enhance flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 tin (15 oz) Tinned Peaches (In syrup)
Instructions
- 1Carefully drain the tinned peaches, reserving the syrup in a separate bowl.
- 2Place the drained peaches in a saucepan along with the reserved syrup. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
- 3Simmer gently for about 15 minutes, allowing the peaches to absorb more of the syrup's flavor. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- 4Remove from heat and let the peaches cool slightly in the syrup. Serve warm or chilled. They can be served on their own or with ice cream or custard.
