Strawberry Cream

A simple and elegant dessert featuring the fresh flavor of strawberries blended into whipped cream.

Ingredients

  • 0.25 pound Fresh Strawberries (Ripe, red strawberries)
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered Sugar
  • 1 quart Heavy Cream (Cold)

Instructions

  1. 1Wash and hull the strawberries. Extract the juice by crushing them through a sieve or using a juicer. Discard the pulp.
  2. 2In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar with the strawberry juice until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. 3In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream using a whisk or an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip.
  4. 4Gently fold the sweetened strawberry juice into the whipped cream until just combined. Do not overmix. Serve immediately or chill for a short time before serving.
