Simple Spanish Onion Salad

A simple and refreshing salad made with cold, boiled Spanish onions, dressed with oil and vinegar.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium Spanish onions, boiled and cooled (Ensure onions are completely dry before dressing.)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil (Use a good quality extra virgin olive oil.)
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar (White wine vinegar or cider vinegar works well.)
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt (To taste)
  • 0.125 teaspoon Black pepper (Freshly ground, to taste)

Instructions

  1. 1Gently pull the cold, boiled Spanish onions into individual leaves or segments.
  2. 2In a bowl, gently toss the onion leaves with olive oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Be careful not to overdress.
