Modern Melon Salad

A refreshing melon salad, served as a starter or light dish, seasoned with salt, cayenne pepper, and a light vinaigrette.

Ingredients

  • 1 slice Melon (Cantaloupe, Watermelon, or Honeydew) (About 1-inch thick)
  • 1 pinch Salt (To taste)
  • 1 pinch Cayenne Pepper (To taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil (Extra virgin)
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar (White wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar)

Instructions

  1. 1Cut a slice of melon about 1-inch thick. Remove the rind and seeds. Cut the melon into bite-sized pieces or leave as a slice.
  2. 2Sprinkle the melon with a pinch of salt and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and vinegar.
  3. 3Serve immediately as a starter or light dish.
