Chocolate Cream
A simple and elegant dessert featuring chocolate dissolved into sweetened whipped cream.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces Dark Chocolate (at least 70% cacao) (Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor.)
- 2 tablespoons Boiling Water (Just enough to dissolve the chocolate.)
- 1 cup Heavy Cream (Must be very cold for proper whipping.)
- 2 tablespoons Powdered Sugar (Adjust to your desired sweetness.)
Instructions
- 1Finely chop the chocolate. Place the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Add the boiling water and stir until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Let it cool to room temperature.
- 2In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue whipping until stiff peaks form.
- 3Gently fold the cooled chocolate mixture into the whipped cream until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. Divide the chocolate cream into serving dishes and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
