Almond Cheesecakes
A simple variation on cheesecakes, flavored with almond essence.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces Cream cheese (Softened)
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Almond extract
- 1 cup Ground almonds
- 1 cup Graham cracker crumbs
- 1 tablespoon Butter, melted
Instructions
- 1Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Press into the bottom of individual cheesecake molds or a small baking dish.
- 2In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the almond extract and ground almonds.
- 3Pour the filling over the crust. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until the filling is set.
- 4Let the cheesecakes cool completely before chilling in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
