Step 1
Cut ripe jackfruit into small pieces n add to it half a cup of water n cook it with salt for 2 whistles.
Step 2
When it cools open the cooker n transfer it to another vessel. Grind it in mixie. Place the grinded jack fruit in a vessel n add to it coconut pieces.
Step 3
Add jaggery syrup to the vessel. Place the vessel on a stove n heat it n stir it well in low flame until it becomes a thick syrup.
Step 4
Add to the thick syrup rice flour n mix well to form a dough. Roll it in oval shape n wrap it in a banana leaf. Steam it for 20 mins in an idli cooker.
