Step 1
Wash n soak rice for 20 mins. Meantime grind in a mixie jar the following. Mint leaves, curds, ginger, green chillies n garlic flakes to a smooth paste.
Step 2
Place a cooker on stove n add to it oil n ghee. Add bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves n marathi moggu. Saute for few secs. Add shahi jeera n saute for sometime.
Step 3
Add thinly sliced onions n saute till it is soft. Add ground masala paste n saute till raw smell is absent.
Step 4
Add one n a half cup water for 1 cup rice. Also add green peas. Wait till it boils. Finally add the soaked rice. Wait for it to boil. Finally close the lid n cook for 1 whistle.
