Step 1
Clean and slice the strawberries into small pieces.
Step 2
Add the strawberry slices and sugar in a food processor or a blender and purée it.
Keep 1/2 cup of the purée aside.
Step 3
In a cold bowl , beat the one cup of whipping cream until it forms stiff peaks.
Step 4
Fold in half of the purée into the cream gently.
Step 5
Divide the 1/2 cup purée that was set aside into 4 bowls or cups
Step 6
Top up the purée with the strawberry mousse and refrigerate for 1-2 hours
Step 7
For the topping you can use the remaining whipped cream on top of the mousse
Step 8
For some added flair you can carve out a rose shape from a strawberry and place it on top of the whipped cream đ
Use a small kitchen knife for better control
