    Step 1
    Put the poha into a strainer. Pour a jug of water into it. Tap the strainer to extract water from the poha. Leave it for 10 minutes to soak.
    Step 2
    Heat a pan and add peanuts. Roast the peanuts for 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame, keep stirring. Take out the roasted peanuts in a plate and keep it aside.
    Step 3
    Heat oil in the same pan. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds. When they splutter, add green chilli and curry leaves. Fry it for few seconds on medium flame. Add sugar and mix it.
    Step 4
    Chop the onion and add to pan. Fry the onions on low medium flame till it turns golden brown. Then add turmeric powder. Mix it and cook for few seconds till the raw smell of spices go away. Add roasted peanuts and mix it.
    Step 5
    Add washed poha. Gently mix it. Cover the pan and cook it for a minute on low flame. Open the lid and stir it. Add lemon juice and coriander leaves and mix.
    Step 6
    Cover the pan and cook it for a minute on low flame. Open the lid and stir it. Turn off the flame. Enjoy with hot tea!
