Step 1
First cut the raw banana into four. Put the bananas into salt water. Wash thoroughly in salt water. Cut into small pieces and wash again.Chop tomato and shallots into small pieces.
Step 2
Take a pressure cooker and add bananas and tomatoes. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder coriander powder and salt. Add 11/2 cups of water .Add curry leaves. Heat the pressure cooker on medium flame. Two whistle is enough.
Step 3
Grind grated coconut along with enough water.Add this ground paste into the raw banana and boil well for 10 minutes in low flame until the raw smell of the masala goes.
Step 4
Take a pan and pour the oil into the pan. Heat the oil with medium flame. Add finely sliced shallots, dry red chilli and curry leaves. Roast until the onion become light brown. Pour this to the curry and close the pressure cooker. Serve hot with rice or chapati.
