Step 1
Soak red kidney beans overnight, take pressure cooker add these beans with remaining water, 1/4 tbsp salt and 1 cup more water, boil till 3 whistles
Step 2
Take a cookware, heat 2 tbsp oil, add 1 tsp cumin seeds , 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds, 1/2 tsp asafoetida, cook till it gets brown
Step 3
Add paste of ginger, garlic and green chilli and cook for 2 minutes
Step 4
Add 1 finely chopped onion, cook till it gets brown, now add 3 grinded tomatoes, cook for 5-6 minutes
Step 5
Now add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder,1/4 salt, mix it weel and cook for 7-8 minutes on medium flame
Step 6
Add the boiled beans into it and cook for 10 minutes, serve it hot with indian breads or rice
