Step 1
For dal, soak chana dal/split chickpea lentils for 10 minutes, now boil this soaked dal by adding 3 cups water and 1/4 tbsp turmeric powder in pressure cooker for 10 minutes

Now take Another cookware add 2 tbsp oil, add cumin seeds, dry red chilli, 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds, 1/2 tsp asafoetida,cook till it gets brown, add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes, add chopped onions and green chillies and cook for 3 minutes, add chopped tomatoes, add 1/2 tbsp salt cook for 3 minutes, add paste of 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tbsp coriander powder, 2 tbsp water, cook for 5 minutes, now add the boiled lentils into this, mix it well and cook for 10 minutes , add coriander leaves while serving
Step 3
For baati/Indian bread, take a big bowl, add 500gm wheat flour, 1/2 tbsp salt, 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp baking soda, 1/2 cup ghee, make a tight dough
Step 4
Pre heat the baati oven or microwave oven, make dough balls and put these in the oven and cook from both the side till it gets little brown for atleast 15 minutes
Step 5
For churma, take 4-5 baati/bread, grind this , take a bowl, add this grinded baati, add 1 cup ghee/clarified butter, 1 cup powdered sugar, mix it well with hands
Step 6
Now serve these hot (soak baati/bread in ghee)
